For couples with an ovulation factor, no significant semen abnormalities undergoing treatment with controlled ovarian hyperstimulatio, your doctor may recommend timed intercourse. This may or may not be used in conjunction with artificial insemination.  The timing will be based upon you follicular and hormonal monitoring.  Follow the instructions of your phycician and nurse.
