While the use of donated sperm dates back to the late 19th century, the utilization of donated eggs for reproduction was made a possibility a little over 20 years ago.

Egg donation is reserved for women/couples for whom other reproductive options have either been exhausted or are not available. Such treatment requires the medical screening and coordination of several individuals and therefore is more time consuming, complicated and costly than other treatments. We understand the sense of urgency felt during this process and one of our primary aims is to facilitate progress and provide the needed support during this endeavor.

Regardless of the type of donor you use, certain health related issues must be addressed. We comply with the guidelines set forth by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and aim primarily to ensure the well being of both the donor and recipient. Such compliance does require a combination of lab tests, meetings with members of our team and completion of various forms.

Depending upon the type of donor used, the cost of the process varies. For Non-directed/anonymous obtained through our Anonymous Egg Donation Program, recipients provide for the administrative costs of donor recruitment and screening as well as any costs incurred during the treatment process. Once you have selected the donor and all of her screening has been complete, a concrete figure related to treatment will be made available. Prior to treatment, we will gladly provide you with estimates so that you can get a sense as to what this form of treatment will entail.

It is important to note that in order to optimally ensure the well being of all involved parties, we use rather strict criteria in selecting Non-directed/anonymous donors in our Anonymous Egg Donation Program. Using such criteria limits the available pool of donors and therefore, we make donors available to recipients on a “first come, first served” basis. In order to allow for this screening process we will require $6,000. You will be provided with an itemized account as to how this money is applied and any residual remaining after selection of the donor will be applied to your treatment cycle. If you choose to use a Non-directed/anonymous donor form our Anonymous Egg Donation Program, you will be required to compensate the donor for the time that she invests ($4,000 for a completed cycle which is included in the $6,000 down payment).

Completing the screening process and coordinating the care of several individuals is time consuming. You can expect one-on-one education sessions and a meeting with a mental health professional in order to appropriately provide you with the materials and tools needed to for this process to go smoothly.

We strive to be available to answer questions and assist you at all points. Our approach focuses upon the empathetic delivery of state of the art care that is free of barriers and fosters an ideal relationship between you and our staff. If you have any questions or concerns please, do not hesitate to contact us.
